Miquel Gelabert new Vertigo official rider for 2024

Miquel Gelabert (6/2/1998), one of the most promising young Spanish trial riders, will be an official Vertigo Motors rider for the next 2024 World Championship season.

Gelabert, who was European champion in 2016, will defend the brand’s colours in the top competition, TrialGP and also in the French Trial Championship, as well as being a brand ambassador to promote the brand and its products in different countries.

After a time away from the competition, Miquel Gelabert decided to return to it last season, once the championship had started and as a private rider, at the controls of a Vertigo RSR. Of the seven GPs of the 2023 World Championship, he took part in the last four, finishing in a creditable 9th place and with the best result, a fourth place in the TrialGP of Sestrière (Italy).

Welcome, Miquel!

Miquel Gelabert (Vertigo official rider): “I am super happy to be able to sign for official Vertigo. It is a challenge for me to become an official brand rider again. After going through a year and a half of personal difficulties, I can say that I am focused and very motivated again. We hope the results turn out as we hope because we are very focused on 2024. On the Vertigo Nitro I feel very comfortable and I hope that both I and the team can achieve what we want.”

Manel Jané (CEO Vertigo Motors): “At Vertigo we all really appreciate the effort that Miquel Gelabert made last season. He trusted the Vertigo Nitro RSR in his return to competition at the world’s top level, even if it was privately. He achieved good results and we believe that all that work should have a reward in some way. For Vertigo Motors it is a pleasure to now have you as an official driver. We hope he can achieve the successes he deserves.”
