In his first participation in the X-Trial World Championship this 2024 season, Vertigo rider Miquel Gelabert obtained an excellent classification in Estonia.
Vertigo’s first participation in the indoor World Championship this season was in the hands of Miquel Gelabert. The Catalan rider, at the controls of a Vertigo Nitro RS2, took part in the sixth and penultimate round of this season’s X-Trial World Championship that was held in Tallinn, Estonia, for the first time in its history.
After a first lap with the handicap of going out on track in second place and finishing in sixth provisional position, he took part in the second lap with greater ease and managed to finish the second pass through the sections with only three penalty points, in fifth place in the second round, even ahead of World Champion Toni Bou. This result confirmed him in sixth place in the race. Gelabert is ranked eighth in the championship standings, with a total of 15 riders classified.

Another of the Vertigo drivers, the Spanish TR4 champion Dani Comas, finished in eighth place in this class. Thomas Housecroft, in the TR2 category, and Caroline Bellon, in the women’s category, also took third place on the podium in their respective categories. Finally, Vertigo also took home the award for the best brand in these three days of competition.
