PAMPLONA, THIRD ROUND OF THE X-TRIAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR MATTEO GRATTAROLA

Vertigo Motors rider Matteo Grattarola is set to take part this Saturday in round three of the X-Trial World Championship to be held in the Spanish city of Pamplona.

This weekend the Vertigo team are back in action with Matteo Grattarola preparing a third X-Trial World Championship participation of the season, his twentieth race in the indoor world championship.

After Barcelona and Wiener Neustadt, Matteo Grattarola will be seeking to regain his physical form and will be hoping to produce a notable performance behind the handlebars of the Vertigo Nitro. The Italian will be faced with the task of tackling the two laps of the five-section course with maximum possible composure, given that he will do so with virtually no previous references.

First time at Navarra Arena

The event, which will be held at the Navarra Arena in Pamplona for the first time ever, gets underway at 19:00 on Saturday, 25 March, with the final of this third world championship event scheduled to commence at around 21:00.

MATTEO GRATTAROLA (Vertigo Factory rider): “I think we have learned a lot after the first two events of the X-Trial World Championship and we are working towards, on the one hand, regaining as much as possible the physical form that has hampered us in the opening part of the season and, on the other hand, finishing setting up the bike, as we haven’t had much time to adjust it. We know that we must not rush things and we have to take it one step at a time to make any progress.”
