VERTIGO AND ITS VANDAL, TO COMPETE IN THE TRIAL2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

2018-03-16

Scarcely two months away from the opening round of the TrialGP 2018 series, the Vertigo Official Factory Team reinforces its line up with a new rider. He is Matteo Poli, an Italian rider with great experience in the highest levels of competition, specially in the Italian National Championship. His qualities and knowledge will be important not only to get good results in the always competitive Trial2 class, but also to carry on with the Vertigo Vandal development.

In his extensive record book we can find an Italian TR2 title (2012), a 3rd place in the European Championship (2013), a 5th place in the Trial2 World Championship (2014), another 5th place in the Italian National Championship in the premier class (2014) and a 6th place also in the Italian Championship early on 2015.

Poli will be racing the European rounds only, so he will miss TrialGP Japan. With this signing, Vertigo adds a rider with World Championship level, expecting him to be able to fight amongst the Top riders of the Trial2 class. On the other hand, and apart from the results, which are obviously important, at the same time there will be another main objective, and it is no other than keep on working on the Vertigo Vandal development. There is no better place to test it than in real racing, something that the TrialGP World Championship obviously provides.
